Cebu Budget Hotel - City Center

Great hostel in a great location. Close to sm mall, the ferry port and south station needed to get to all the islands. Staff know perfect English like most people do in the Philippines and always happy to help. Rooms are comfortable and felt safe throughout my stay here. Only downfall for other backpackers is no hot water, isn't a big deal as cold showers are appreciated in Philippines humidity and heat. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.  

We stayed here for two nights prior to leaving the Philippines. 

The places was cheap, clean and ideally located for exploring the city.

The room was small but for two nights this was ok as we didn't spend much time in the room. There was also only a cold shower, however the water pressure was good.

The aircon worked well and the wifi worked quick and fast.  Staff were friendly and helped us whenever we needed it.

I recommend for those people on a tight budget, you'll be lucky to find something cheap yet clean in Cebu City!

Good budget hotel

Friendly hostel 

From the name itself you’ll definitely get what you’ll pay for. We stayed here for 2 nights. Bed was good we had a good night sleep location is also good as its only few steps to the main road to buy your daily needs. The room we stayed in is pretty much old. CR seems to be clogged, the in room percolator is also too old that the paint from it is already falling off. Overall, it was okay don’t expect so much as you’ll only pay approx 800 per night.  

You get what you pay for.

Spent a few nights here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but the rooms were a little cramped. We had a bunk bed and an uncomfortable cot in ours and used a shared (read: community) bathroom with bad water pressure. Everything was fairly clean and there was average wifi at times...

Great staff, cheap room. 

The staff tried to rip us off, they charged us one more room. Very bad spirit. 
No window in the room, a lot of noise (the staff was screaming in the middle of the night, impossible to sleep), bad mattress and a really really small bathroom for a dormitory of 8. 

We certainly not recommend this hostel, the only bad experience we had in Philippines !

Really bad experience

We came very late than expected check in time yet still we need to wait by standing still while filling out their reg.form. It's very inconvenient, it's more of a dormitory type not a hotel. It doesn't match the price you pay.It is narrow and crowded. And, no free breakfast. Very disappointing.
