Food is superb
Staff are all courteous. 
Though a bit pricey but worth every place.
Instagramable
And the place is spacious and super clean.
Will definitely go back next time summer because it is rainy season

This hotel is "off the beaten track" offering nature's beauty due to the numerous trees on the property offering a tranquil escape.  It is also an ideal venue for conferences, weddings, social events and a "family escape"  Lush landscapes and cool breezes.

It was our second time here, this time with friends. The last time we were here was in December with our family. The friendliness of staff and the impeccable hospitality of Mr Tito M was consistent in both occasions. 

The food we had here were excellent In December. We orders a few dishes for lunch which were really good. 

Yesterday, we came for coffee and light bites. Coffee was lovely. We had the turon and pizza pinakbet to share. Both are well prepared, presented well and yummy! 

The ambience in this place is superb. Despite the rain and wind we had for the day. We sat in one of the outside covered spaces and soaked into the natural feeling of the environment. It’s a place one would always want to return to for a relaxing meal. Toilets are clean, too! 

This is one of our go to places when we are in town!

Home away from home.. definitely a hidden gem in Alfonso, Cavite...

- great Food (ilocano, pinoy, etc)

The place was awesome! It was my 50th birthday and my husband surprised me and our guest with our renewal of vows. We celebrated 25 yrs of marriage in 2019. Abagatan ti Manila is the perfect place to have this kind of celebration! An intimate garden wedding and a sumptuous dinner at the reception hall! 
The staff coordinated well with my husband’s “team” to make the surprise for me a success! 
Our room was perfect! Staff were accommodating. The entire place is well maintained and clean. I love their longganisa!

The place is great for relaxation. It’s nice to walk around the area since it hs lots of trees and there’s a lagoon if you want to just relax. The room is clean and nice also. It is big enough for a couple room. 

Abagatan ti Manila is a hotel and resort away from the noise of the city.  

The surroundings are well planted with beautiful ornamental plants and trees.  Green all around.  Well lighted at night.

The rooms are clean and has good space. The bathroom has excellent structure. The terrace offers a calming experience.  You will love the sounds produce by nature. 
There is swimming pool with cold water, this is what you can expect to places near Tagaytay.
Twin lakes Tagaytay is very near to this hotel. Just 10 minutes drive and you will be there to spend an afternoon, or early evening to feel the coldness only Tagaytay and Baguio City has.

Everyone will love the buffet breakfast.

Located just a few kilometers from Tagaytay's main road, this place offers a quiet refuge whether it's sleep (comfortable beds, clean aircon-ed room and bathroom), good food (Cafe Gabriel serves great food specializing in Ilocano cuisine, delicious hot chocolate, chocolate bread, strong coffee), relaxation/massage/swim, silent space, prayer time, nature commune (walk amidst flowers and trees or view rhe ducks in the lagoon) or bonding with family/friends that you need. Most of all, staff are all hospitable and helpful!  Good value for money, too! Highly recommended! Will come back!

We stayed in their villa, and it was very nice. The villa is a good place to rent and spend some time with family and friends. I did not like it that their television is just TV plus, therefore there is not much to choose from. But all in all, the place was very comfortable and their food was pretty much yummy too. Be warned though that it is very very very far and public transportation is not very reliable in the area.

Delightful hotel. Very quiet, secret almost. Never felt crowded and staff were discreet, helpful and professional at all times. Lovely breakfast. Could have done with better (some at least) transport between the hotel and the restaurant, but as the weather was good, we benefitted from the exercise!

Superb: food, staff and surroundings.

If you want peace and quiet and to be away from it all, this hotel is for you.  The grounds are really nice and the facilities are nice as well.  There is not much to do around this place and food is decent though nothing extraordinary. You need a car because it's not accessible to public transportation. It's also far away from other establishments. 

Nice, relaxing staycation

This is the first time i learned about this reseort thru agoda. We decided to go to tagaytay this christmas season to break the tradition. 
The location is good as it is away from all the traffic and just 3 minutes away from Twin Lakes tagaytay where you can dine and shop just incase. 

The property is huge, there is a pond with ducks though the water is stagnant. The ambience is relaxing and i really feel the nature on the place. 
I love the landscaping, design and pool :) 
The lobby is huge and made of glass.
The staffs are nice and accomodating.
The rooms are big even the good for two has 2 beds (deluxe room) Though limited pillow to 2. Also not enough space for things/clothes as there is only one small cabinet inside the room. 
Only 1 chair and no food table though there is a side table.
The toilteries were also limited (2 shampoo and 2 shower gel) 

The good points is that the place is family friendly and very relaxing! This place is ideal for those seeking a relaxation away from the stressful and busy work outside.
The food we have for breakfast is a buffet! And its delicious! It is worth every penny 😊 
The room price is also affordable because it is huge and breakfast is already included
there is also a playroom for kids and a movie room! 

The only one thing we noticed is that the grills on the hallway has a hole which we find not child friendly as the child might sit on the floor and slip on the hole. 

But overall i recommend the place to those searching for unique place to stay in Tagaytay! Definitely worth every penny and will come back soon!


Christmas Staycation

Just located after the stretch of tagaytay  , this resort is big, nicely and modernly built to entertain guests either for simple get away, or wedding events or team building. There is no view of the volcano or lake here. 

It has prayer room , adult and kiddie pool , billiard, gym, 2 restaurants, table tennis, bonfire, man made pond, buggy cart, garden , drivers quarter, small function rooms.  

rooms are neat, cozy  but does not have dresser, hairdryer, vault.  It has limited dress hook. You cannot hang your wet clothings on the outdoor hallway.  You can fish and feed the duck at their pond , pick fruits. 

Staffs are friendly , food is good but limited.  

Overall experience, good . Price is kinda affordable .  I would love to come back to rest in a clean , spacious resort,  feel and see  the nature .

Weekend Sanctuary

Our family of 5 had an overnight in Alfonso, Cavite, quite a distance from the bustling Tagaytay crowd. This is the place for a quiet and relaxing space amidst the greenery. Our family stayed in the 2-bedroom villa near the pool. Very much wheelchair-friendly from the front desk to the villa, villa to the restaurants. It might be a problem though during rainy season. Might also be a problem for wheelchairs for the smaller rooms. I didn’t get to see an elevator. Front desk and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms at the villa where spacious but comfortable. Clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Relaxing bathroom with the Japanese toilet. Heater and showers worked well in the villa.

We had dinner the day we arrived at Abagatan. Yummy Ilocano dishes in the menu. May take a little while to cook. We had sisig, chicken barbecue, grilled squid and longganisa rice. We had sticky rice with mango and turon. Simple buffet breakfast of tuna, longganis and tocino with scrambled egg and rice. Also available were bread, cereals, milk and fruits.

We had our seminar in this resort type hotel... The place is far from other establishments, making it a bit secluded from the noise of the city... You can feel the intimacy and the calmness of the place... It is perfect for retreat, weddings and other intimate celebrations, the rooms were simple, clean and neat... The staff were friendly and accomodating..
