I took a group of 8 students to K and we all agreed that it was one of the most unique places we’ve stayed. It is situated right at the edge of the Ollantaytambo ruins, which you can see from some of the rooms and balcony. We were very pleased that the hostel had warm water for us all and the beds were very comfortable. There were many restaurants nearby and the K had the most delicious breakfast, including eggs, special bread baked in a wooden stove, fresh fruit, and fresh squeezed OJ. The Sra that ran the place offered to do our laundry for us and had it all done by the next morning. We enjoyed our visit very much! Thank you!

What an amazing visit I had at this hostel. Luzmila took care of me and a group of 10 like we were family to them. She understood we were tired and made the check in process easy for us. Breakfast was delicious and She explained the ingredients and the culture aspect of the meal. I was very happy with our stay and I am sure if I come back to Ollantaytambo, I would definitely stay here again. 

We really enjoyed this hostel. We had a beautiful view of the Ollantaytambo ruins from our room. The quad room that we had was spacious. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had what we needed for our stay. It is close to great restaurants and the ruins. We would stay here again. Highly recommend.

When I travel I always look for a place where I can be closer to the people, places that I can learn a lot about culture, and thanks to my friends at Hostal Resbalosa, Jorge and Paula, I found a great place to stay in Ollantaytambo, my favorite gate to go to Macchu Picchu. I found this wonderful hostal called Kuychipunku, the family who runs the place is descendent of ancient incas, and the place is a museum and a real school of all the incas heritage. 
Kuychipunko means RAINBOW DOOR, and you get into another dimension, but the place is full of plants, the rooms are clean, and it is close to the ruins of the Sun's Temple and close to many amazing restaurants. And when I am in a place, I try to do what they do, and I spent hours talking with Mila, about Peruvian cuisine, and she has the hand of gold!!
Super clean rooms, amazing green space and super well located. I highly recommend this hostal in Ollantaytambo.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast provided was really good.
The money is worth the location.
They stored our bags while we went to Machu-Picchu.

We stayed here two nights - one on the night before we went to Macchu Picchu (where we stayed overnight in Aguas Calientes) and another on the evening back. We left our suitcases there when we took the train to Aguas Calientes. We also organized three full days of taxi tour around the Sacred Valley with a family member (son-in-law of the proprietors). The prices were reasonable and the communication was clear and great. Mijail (sounds a bit like Michael) - one of the sons - speaks English very well and reached out to us on Whatsapp immediately when we landed at the airport, where Marco, (our driver) was waiting for us. I always felt like my belongings were secure. Marco also took us to amazing restaurants. He was also a safe driver. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when you visit the Sacred Valley/Macchu Picchu and using them as a home base for your trip. Using the taxi is more pricey than taking a bus around, but they were reasonable among the taxi driver prices that I got. It was nice not to have to fight and bargain with multiple taxi drivers during our trip, making it altogether a relaxing and fun experience. Plus, you felt a little bit like you are staying with a Peruvian family. The breakfast (included) was also tasty and fresh!

Cozy place right across from the Olly inca ruins. All you need is a place with a good bed and a clean toilet and this checks off for that.

We arrived in Ollantaytambo after a long airplane flight, we were greeted warmly by the owner Mrs Luzmila Mejia and her family. The rooms are clean, mattresses are firm, clean pillows also. Our bathroom was clean and worked well all 3 days we stayed there. Mrs Mejia had box lunches ready for us when we went the next day very early to Machu Picchu (5 AM train). She was very helpful recommended places to eat and where to go. Other mornings we enjoy their breakfast of eggs, fresh squeezed fruit juice, bread, coffee, tea and fruit.They have a small but lovely courtyard to sit and talk . She helped us get the collectivo for our return to Cuzco. This place is especial just because of their people and neatness. I would stay there again. Next to the ruins.
