Casa Vista Pista

This house has three rooms with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Good location close to everything, opposite the airport but not many flights so hardly an issue, if anything it’s actually fun to watch the planes land so close. The room was comfortable and kitchen had everything you need. If you like to have a reception to help with things this place is probably not for you but if you want to stay somewhere that feels more like a home this place is perfect. Could communicate at any time with staff through whatsapp anyway!

It's a really beautiful place to stay in Bocas del Toro. We loved it and we decided to increase our stay 4 more nights. The house is very comfortable, clean, the kitchen is well equipped, good internet, everything you need. The views are amazing, you can see planes landing and taking off just in front of you while people are playing football literally on the airstrip (the noise is not gonna bother your rest because there are around 3 o 4 flights per day). Jenny, the owner is really professional and very kind. We highly recommend it

Great house 

Best place to stay in Bocas

If you're looking for a cheap private room in Bocas this might be for you! There are three private rooms but all of them share one bathroom and shower! It's clean but very basic. Kitchen equipment is good. 
2 of the rooms have a safe! 
They say that someone's coming to clean every 3rd day, but I've never seen anyone in the 5 days I stayed there. So the place got kind of messy especially because there were 4 other people. Not good :(
In the neighborhood there is constant loud music, especially on the weekends!



OK place for budget travelers

We only stayed here one night before heading to the islands - it served the purpose of a cheap stay and turned out to be perfect for a rainy afternoon.  It was pouring out but there was a very lively baseball game going on right in front of the house that we could watch from the balcony, while the planes landed over the property.  The place was very clean with two fridges and lots of equipment for making your own meals and a nice common area.  The bedroom was just a room with a bed in a traditional Panamanian house - you could see light thru the wood slats of the wall.  Extremely convenient for the airport that is across the street (house is on the flight/landing path)

We arrived earlier than the check in and Jeanne received us, which was kind. 
However, the place has no reception, no one to receive you and you have to wait at Standing there until she comes, in our case around 40 minutes. We just wanted to drop our bags somewhere and go, but anyway..she wasn't friendly at all. Maybe she was busy. Charged us 15% more for our stay. 10% for the fee of booking.com and 5% cleaning fee. We have been travelling around the world and it is the first time we had to pay such fees. In the end we paid more than expected for a tiny little room. We didn't fit with our backpacks in there (twin room). The couple on the other room paid $6,00 less than us so we thought pricing is inconsistent. 

The light didn't work for the first 2 days. On the 1st, we thought the bottom on the wall was a light switch, but it wasn't. Then when we figure out, the light worked for 5 minutes, then there was no light again. As there's no one there, no reception, I had to write on whatsapp to Joanne and that's the way to communicate. 

The place is clean and the kitchen quite cute, but that's all really. I would recommend finding another place. There was other places for the same price offering breakfast as well on the way.
