This was our first meal out, after 10 days in Norway. Our expectations were high - and we were not disappointed. The staff were spot on - first class, attentive but discrete service. The fish soup was excellent - though very creamy and rich. Really well done, though I don’t think I’d have coped with a main course portion. For mains I had the cod and Debs the monkfish - both of which were cooked to perfection, with a good selection of extras. In particular the duxelle, kale and samphire were delicious. Debs had a dessert, which wasn’t great. Her sorbet was excellent, but the sweet croutons and cake let the side down. The fish was the star attraction - altogether an excellent meal.
