We stayed for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the lakeside view was spectacular. A pleasant surprise for no charge to use the washing machine. We chose not to get our room serviced while we were there and they donated $10 a day towards tree planting! We will be back!

Excellent choice! Opposite the lake with gorgeous views of lake and mountains. Great sunsets. Balcony. Perfect armchairs with recliners. Great kitchen area, lovely bathrooms and very comfy beds. Plenty of easy parking and within walking distance of the town itself. Highly recommended.

This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our visit of the South Island. It’s right across the street from a huge lake and has floor to ceiling windows for a perfect view. It was very roomy, with a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, full-size refrigerator and everything you need to make meals. Big bathroom with shower and giant bathtub. Even has a washer/dryer! Ileana, who lives next door, was so sweet and helpful. She had the room warmed up for us with a flickering “fireplace” looking heater on. Very inviting. Easy walk to store and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed a couple of weeks.

This place was a delightful find.  Our apartment ( in the newer building) was perfect and well appointed.  It was spacious, had a great bed, a wonderful bathroom and kitchen and as a bonus, a washer dryer ( well needed at this point in our trip).  We had a great view of the lake, and an easy walk into town for restaurants and shopping.  It was a great base for our Te Anau exploration..

When you research motels on TripAdvisor or Google you sometimes wonder if some folk review on price, location or quality of the accommodation. What a surprise it was to find out that all of the excellent reviews that this establishment has have been based on all three.

We had a super friendly welcome from the owner at checkin but nothing she said prepared us for how good the units were. First class fittings, furniture and accessories. Thick plush carpet throughout, underfloor heating, modern well finished bathroom, practical kitchen and an amazing view from the lounge. 

We could tell the owners are very proud of their units in the quality of the finishing and the cleanliness. Well done Team.

For anyone thinking of staying in Te Anau give them a call, you won’t be disappointed. 5 star from us.

We stayed in an upper level Tanara apartment which is amazing. The view of the lake was unobstructed, we could sit in our Lazy Boys and look out or enjoy the view from the balcony outdoor setting or even from the bathroom! Separate toilet, in room washer/drier was invaluable and underfloor heating in toilet and bathroom. These are very modern units designed to cater for every desire, there’s even a TV to watch in the bath. Great setup in the kitchen with convenient dish drawer, a coffee machine which grinds its own beans and lots of bench space. Really good Wifi here too with a very generous daily limit. And now to mention the owner, Illeana, whose passion for the area and helpfulness would be hard to match. All her recommendations for activities and local operators were spot on and we enjoyed a wonderful floatplane trip with Wings and Water. This was a truly awesome stay and we loved all of our four nights of luxury, a great place to return to after full days of sightseeing. 

WOW! What an outstanding place to stay. We were greeted with the most impeccable service, followed by the most gorgeous room. Lakefront view, beautifully designed room with gorgeous furnishings and outstanding bathroom to match! Luxury at a great price, stunning location and an amazing vibe. We will be booking this lovely place again, and recommending to all of our friends and family!!

Excellent apartment. Was very spacious. Nothing was an issue, staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an upstairs apartment with a great view of the lake. Was very clean. Easy walk to shops. Lots of parking around the back of the building. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I recently stayed here during a trip of the South Island. We spent three nights in the new block which was built late 2019. 
We were blown away with our apartment. Wonderful shower and bath facilities. Great pressure, beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. The drinking bottles in the fridge and the washer/dryer were a great touch for the outdoor adventurers like us. The views over the lake were stunning, and the room warm, super clean, and well thought out. We will definitely be staying here again. We highly recommend you give it a go.

We stayed in an upstairs Tanara suite, which had been built end of 2019. The attention to detail where everything had been constructed and furnished to a very high standard may the stay exceptionally enjoyable.

We both agreed this one of the best showers we had experienced worldwide - bath and separate shower with many options inc 2 shower heads - though everything was well labelled and easy to operate as it was throughout the unit from the electric remote control blinds to the faux-fire.  

All was thoughtfully designed including kitchenette/breakfast bar, and it was soooo relaxing to sit in the rocking/recliner chairs looking out over the lake and mountains... and all within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

On my wishlist to stay here longer next time!

Perfect location and view

A cozy, beautiful setting.

A very good location overlooking the lake and a short walk into town. We received a lovely warm welcome at reception when we arrived and our room was on the ground floor with a parking space right outside our door. 
The accommodation is large and well appointed with a lounge/kitchen/dining room, shower room and bedroom. 
It is all very clean and tidy.
My only slight issue was the noise from the accommodation above, we could hear them moving about and opening / closing doors etc
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Stunning studio where everything exceeded our high expectations!

Stayed for 2 nights.  Great value for money. No need for booking.com etc these guys happy to give us Kiwis a great rate.  Their recommendations for eating etc were spot on.  Even gave us up to date weather reports.  
Views to die for.
Facilities were top notch. Laundry was totally clean and no need to supply own detergent. 
Great place to stay.
