Roompot Bospark Lunsbergen

I stayed here for a short week in september 2016. We had a 4 person chalet. It is container size and has a seating area outside. The chalet has two bedrooms, so as we were just two we had a bedroom each. It had free wifi. Chalet is on a plot with 3 other chalets in a nice wooded area with other similar plots on either sides. But good enough spacing so not cramped. Parking area nicely situated nearby, and no hinder of traffic noise. But we were there out of season so that might make all the difference ! Has a shower and seperate toilet. Beds weren't that great, rather low and too soft. One bedroom was quite small, so a little bit cramped even as a single user. It is soberly furnished but you have everything you need and this makes it easier to keep it clean. Pillows and duvets provided but towels and sheets cost extra, or you can bring your own. We used the chalet as a home base for visiting the area, so we did not use any other facilities on the site, swimming pool, tennis lawns. And as we were out of season there was no organised entertainment, which they do offer during the summer holidays. But we prefer the out of season calm and quiet.... There's a reception and a small shop for the bare necessities, but pricewise you're better of shopping in a regular supermarket. Among others we visited the new zoo WILDLANDS, at the reception you can get tickets at a slightly reduced price (maybe this was a temporary deal). Wildlands also has wheelchairs available, it's best to make a reservation for one in advance. I have a walking disability but managed to walk through most of the zoo, taking my time though and have a lot of small breaks along the way. There are enough benches and seats to have a little rest.
