Sakura Inn is the annex of a very luxury hotel so you get all the perks including access to the amazing pool by the river and to the excellent and huge buffet. The room was very big and comfortable, located about 5 minutes walk from the main reception and a pleasant walk but the orchard. The staff was extremely friendly and make you feel at ease at all time. Papa the head receptionist always had a smile and helped me out to confirm my pick up from the bus company from the hotel. Make the most of it til you can because the annex has been fully refurbished and is so good value for money that soon the owners will surely want to make more money for it.

Located on the premises of a nicer hotel, so get the benefit of the nicer facilities (though you have to walk about 5 minutes to get to the front desk). Renting an ebike or taxi is a couple dollars more expensive than elsewhere, but we were happy to pay for the convenience of not walking far out. The included breakfast buffet was quite good

1. they upgrade us from school like room to Bamboo resort house at free.2. the location is great, we walked to see Mr. Ananda. The Bagan Museum is worth to visit though the entrance for non local is 5000K.3. we could not sleep on the first night due to the air conditioner was not cold as it has the high ceiling, after we asked for electric fan the situation had been improved.4. the swimming pool is good, but it should be cleaned from time to time.5. the dinner inside the resort is not cheap which costed at least USD30 per one.6. the hotel located at the middle between Nuangy O n New Bagaon, we could walked around one hour to the nearby village for lunch or dinner.7. the surrounding of the resort is so beautifully which attract a team of wedding photo professional to take wedding photos during the sunset.8. many pretty ladies selected the sunset background for taking photos around the swimming pool area.9. the buffet breakfast is good n enjoy to see so many flowers n birds around us.

Great location, wonderful view of the river and very close to the most famous temples. Nice pool to chill out when the heat hits hard in the mission dale of the day.

I booked Sakura Inn hotel but i got upgraded to their resort area called THIRIPYITSAYA SANCTUARY RESORT! Mind blowing! The resort is breath taking, is super beautiful sorrounded by nature, is next to the river and the pool is amazing. The room was super spacious and with great amenities and included free coffee , tea and bottles of water. Is free WiFi around the entire resort. They also serve a delicious breakfast every morning at their restaurant that has pool n river view. The also offer electrical motorcycles at a low cost of $6.90 USD for the entire day. They are extremely convenient to visit the temples and go all over the place. The resort is located at Old Bagan so is sorrounded by temples, so the motorcycle is perfect. Overall i had a fantastic time and if i come again to Bagan i would definetely stay here again!

When i arrived and checked in i got an upgrade from the hotel area to the resort area and it was amazing. The resort is so beautiful that is no way that u can’t fall in love with the place. The views are breathtaking and the rooms are super comfortable with great amenities. When i come back to Bagan in few years i definetely will stay here again.

I seriously cannot say enough great things about this hotel. First, it is located very close to the most famous temples and is a quick walk to all the restaurants/shops in Old Bagan. The inn is also located on a different resort’s premise. This means that you get to pay a fairly low rate, but get to enjoy all the amenities of a 5-star resort! The quality of service provided during my two night stay was also amazing! They seriously went above and beyond to help. I highly recommend this hotel during a stay in Bagan!!

Very nice hotel that is connected to the Sanctuary Resort next to it. This offers the amenities of the Resort with the prices of a midrange budget hotel. As we were here during low season, we did not pay much at all. The service standart is very high, a pool accessible without additional charges and the view over the river stunning. 

This hotel is simple, basic and clean. It was comfortable and in a good location close to the main attractions in Old Bagan. The best part is that it is within the same compound as this really nice, fancy resort and you get access to the resort's facilities - including the gorgeous pool with an amazing view of the Irrawaddy river, especially at sunset!
