A slightly overpriced hotel with friendly staff, but somewhat faded from its former glory.  It has a pool that they filled up when we were there, but we didn't use it.  Bicycle hire was a convenient way of getting around Bago.  Rooms are OK, but a bit dark and musty.  There are probably newer and fresher places nearby.  It's perfectly OK, but generally average.

Decent but faded

I stayed there over night on my way to Yangon.It's away from main town and looks totally worn-out.Rooms are like cabin type with old style noicy air-conditioner. Dining hall is unusually large with cheap paintings on the walls. Only saving grace is Kyaik Pun Paya, an ancient temple that  is quite near to go for a morning walk.

Just for transit.

Bago is not a town where a lot of tourist stop to stay overnight. This is why there is not much choice of hotel with western standard. Anyway, the people running the place were nice and helpful. The hotel in itself is made of little wooden bungalow, although it is spacious the inside is dark and gloomy. The beds are ok but the bathrooms need renovation. One very bad point about the rooms is that the management wanted to make sure they were clean and without bugs before we arrive as a results the insect repellent smell was so strong my son had a severe asthma attack after 10 min in the room with no air con. We put back the air con on and he took his inhaler but still less chemicals in the rooms would be nice. 
The breakfast was basic, the eggs and bananas were fresh and nice. The rest not worth a try.
They are advertising a swimming pool, it was the dirtiest water I swam in and the company was only male and very interested in seeing a middle age woman with a toddler swimming in their pool….

Not much choice in town

The positive thing to mention is that they have mosquito nets and that the staff is really friendly. The negative points: We had hairs and dirt on the one bed, little spiders on the other one (which was not surprising when we looked behind the curtains on the window behind the bed...). The toilette was just disgusting with brown spots everywhere and piss on the toilet seat. There was no warm water. WLAN worked only in the morning for a short time. When we asked staff about it, they told us to wait. So we waited until our departure - with no success. .. The hotel is out of town so you have to get a taxi or rent a bicycle (which you can do at the hotel for 3000 Kyat each!!!) to get to the city center. We paid 43 dollar per night which is so much overpriced that it is almost unbelievable! With a little bit more caring this could be a good hotel, but it should be one of the basics that the rooms are clean!

Disgusting

room are poor lighting and dirty, the old fashion air-conditioning, mosquito net on the ceiling are so dirty and also bed sheet are dirty, bath towels with bad smell, staff are not friendly, no mini bar and nothing in the refrigerator. only one things is near from pagodas and cheaper price.
