779 reviewsOur stay at Dar Akal could not have been better! From booking through check-out, everything was easy and professional. All of the staff were friendly, and so service-oriented. Specifically, I cannot emphasize enough how helpful and professional Said was! He was so friendly, informative and accessible - from meeting us at arrival to accompanying us to our departure. All of his dinner recommendations were spot on! He helped to arrange transportation for us for an attraction outside of the medina. Our family of four found our suite to be very beautiful and comfortable. We loved the rooftop terrace - a perfect place for the delicious daily breakfast. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the souks, and about 15 minutes to the main square. It is a quiet neighborhood that felt very safe. It is also not far from a bustling market street/plaza area that is more local-oriented. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Marrakech!
