273 reviewsUpon our arrival, our Queen room was ready, clean and featured everything as promised. The staff were extremely attentive and responded quickly to our needs. They arranged our Hammam and multiple taxi transfers (recommended, as the riad is located in the Medina and finding ones way for the first time will be an extremely tedious and frustrating task). The staff were also always ready to serve us tea with cookies and there was always sb. present at any time of the day. We were supposed to catch our flight early in the morning so one of the staff members arranged a taxi transfer at 5 am and even a wake-up service. Riad El Faris is located deep in the Medina. You can reach the Djemaa el Fna market in 15-20 min by foot, there're several kiosks around the corner, museums are close by and the location was safe to go around at night. We stayed one night in the Queen room and several nights in the Deluxe Queen room. Both accommodations were furnished the way you see in the pictures. Worth mentioning: the bed was somewhat hard (for us it was perfect), enough space for a handful of luggage, the bathroom was clean and a cleaning lady came every day. We did encounter an issue with hot water. Me and my partner both love long showers so it was usual that the second person would get just a few minutes of hot water. But it seems it's a normal problem in the Medina due to the infrastructure so I wouldn't put too much thought into it.
