In Ka'an Guest House

I justed completed a 2 week stay in a 2 bedroom apartment while attending Spanish Immersion school. It is located about six blocks from a lovely mall Altabrisa and you can catch a bus right outside the compound. The owner Bonnie and her manager Patti are very friendly and helpful for anything from renting a car to dropping you off at the bus station. There are several apartments within a very secure wall surrounding the entire area which is why I call it a compound. Many Americans and Canadians rent these apartments for extended periods of time in the winter. There is a large and very clean pool and palapa in the center which provides a lovely area for meeting new friends. The apartment was extremely clean with cable TV and a more than fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this location if you are interested in getting to know a 'non-touristy' city and as a starting point for visiting all of Yucatan.
