Casa Luz

A truly beautiful place to stay in Holbox. Casa Luz Beach Front is a stunning place to stay. The house is spacious, with comfortable rooms, private bathrooms, and excellent air conditioning. There are great shared spaces, including a large common living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a rooftop terrace with sun loungers, and a private beachfront area with more loungers, umbrellas, a beach volleyball court, ping pong table, and boats available for guests. Just steps from the house, you’ll find the beach and the ocean—perfect for a refreshing swim. There’s also a cozy little café nearby. You can walk along the beach or walk the road into town; Casa Luz is centrally located, and it’s easy to reach everything Holbox has to offer. The house also has massage tables, and it’s easy to book a masseuse who will come to you. We were in Holbox to fish with Tarpon Club Isla Holbox, and they picked us up by boat right on the beach in front of the house. The fishing was incredible—we caught big tarpon on several days! The owner, David Sutherland, is a kind and helpful host who makes sure you have everything you need. There’s also always someone nearby to assist if anything comes up or if you need someone to cook for you. This is truly an amazing place to stay in Holbox. Highly recommended—whether you’re here to fish or just relax. Beautiful place, great location, and outstanding service. You won’t regret it we’d love to come back!
