It was a great vacation but I would like to use the swimming pool. I was expecting to spend a lot of time there. They should say that their swimming pool is not in service before booking.

Don Tomas Cabañas are beautiful, very comfortable and within walking distance of all their amenities.  They have a top notch restaurant and bar.  Their chef is absolutely amazing!

Nice city get away.  I loved the fact that there is no TV in the cabin.  Which is perfect to go out and walk the grape vines.  I would think that is the reason.  There was continuous hot water.

Lovely property. Great people, good wine, lovely cabana and dog friendly, what else could you ask for?

I’ve stayed at Don Tomas several times and loved it—except for one recurring issue: the receptionist, Patricia. While the rest of the staff is exceptional, Patricia’s attitude is consistently rude.On my recent stay in December, when the hotel was mostly empty, I booked an extra night and asked to keep the same room. She refused to help, saying she wasn’t “in the mood for English today,” even though she knew my Spanish is very limited and she’s capable of speaking English. This wasn’t an isolated incident, as she’s dismissed reasonable requests in the past.It’s disappointing because I truly enjoy the property and other staff, but Patricia’s treatment made me feel so unwelcome that I left instead of staying the extra night. I’d love to return, but not if this continues.

This our second time staying here and both times have been wonderful. We felt safe and staff is incredible. It's quaint and lot's to do. The Wine Bar is a pretty cool place to be with an awesome view of the vineyard and surroundings. Love their wine, one of my favorite places in Valle. Price is reasonable. Fun tours as well. The cabins are unique, very clean with all the amenities. You won't be disappointed.

This is definitely a beautiful place to stay. Although it was difficult finding it at first. Our GPS took us to the town about 9 miles north. I contacted the hotel and right away they sent me a pin location. It's about a mile of somewhat rough road to get to the vineyard. But once we got there it was definitely worth it. The place is not huge but it's big enough that you have privacy and enjoy the place without walking too much. We were there Monday -wednesday and felt  that we had the vineyard and restaurant to ourselves. Which was wonderful. Thursday onward is their busy days. The restaurant was so pretty and big. Chef Eduardo made the best food and really connected with us and explained his ingredients. Their wine tasting room is so cute and aesthetic. The wine bar only opens on the weekends and the pizza bar by the pool too. The cabin was so cute and rustic. The only thing I didn't like was the strong smell of detergent on the bed sheets. I'm just sensitive to strong scents. They are super pet friendly. We will definitely be back. I don't know how full it is during the weekends but if you want some peace quiet and privacy and are okay without some of their amenities, early weekdays is the best place to go. Oh and their wines are amazing!

Hidden gem

This is an amazing place if you are looking for a place to relax. We have stay in different places around the area, but this has been a very nice surprise. They have enough activities for you not to leave the premises. The only thing I would say is missing is the room service, you know sometimes you just don’t walk to reception to get what you are missing. Other than that, we loved it. Also, please trie the pizza is delicious.

Great and quiet cabins perfect for our family to enjoy. Not many things open late at night or after 7pm so just wish the bar opened more variety of finger food because sometimes you dont want to drive on the dirt roads at night. But other than that the hospitality, neatness and staff all great over all and the view ate an aww

What a great find in Valle de Guadalupe. Adorable cabanas with excellent views. Clean comfortable rooms with views of the vineyards. Only ate breakfast in the restaurant, but both times food and service were tops. It’s a bumpy dirt road off of the highway but the proximity to wineries and the hotel itself are worth the bumps. We will be back!

Wonderful winery and cabin stay for a "Digital Detox" to get away from it all.  Quiet and peaceful with fun things to do all around (e.g.  Wine tasting, great restaurants, etc....).  If you are looking to reconnect with significant other, disconnect from the world, and some quiet time and fun in a beautiful rustic charming environment, you should definitely try Don Tomas Vinedo!

Beautiful Rustic Charm for a Romantic Getaway!

The Mini Cabañas are beautiful, and cozy perfect for a couple. Situated in the middle of-the beautiful vineyard. We went in March and it was cold so make sure you turn on the heater all day/night to maintain the cabin at the perfect temperature if going during the winter months. The heater was quite noisy though.  Also, the cabin is very intimate, all facilities(shower/restroom) are available but they are uncovered and open, with only small walls separating them from the main living space so you need to be very comfortable with your partner. The shower can have alternating water pressure and temperature. No TV or fridge. Wifi works well.You get room service/cleaning daily if needed. You park right outside your cabin. Also they can start a bonfire outside your cabin for an extra charge. 360 wine bar was nice, good snacks/small plates and wine tasting.   Getting to the location is off a long dirt path from the main highway, lots of wholes if it has been raining. Security guard at the front was great, felt safe. Good stay, recommended.
