I'm arriving a year late to tell a Po about my experience. Just by chance my friend and I found this fantastic hostel in downtown Cancun, we never thought we'd find a family! When we arrived we didn't have time to leave our luggage that we were already sitting at the table having dinner with the boys and after dinner they took us to a pub to drink 2 beers, the first feeling was actually to feel really at home. Our stay was supposed to last a few days and we finally stopped for 10 days! The owner Maurizio is the energy of the hostel, every day he takes care of preparing for all the different guests a good breakfast and every day, and even if he can find the dinner. Very good in terms of quality/price ratio. The rooms are clean though a bit old. The shared bathroom but more or less clean. The breakfast is very nice (includes fried eggs). Very central and 10 minutes from the bus station ADO. To spend a night is a very good option.

Excellent service, hospitality, cleanliness, food (huevito con tocino deliiiiiii), location, party, vibes between guests, everything is definitely comfortable and amen, volveremos, good year and good life!!!! ❤ ❤

Great hostel, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. They provide breakfast and dinner every day and it is super delicious. They even cooked something vegan for me, so if you have any dietary needs, let them know! There is also free coffee, homemade cake and fruit during the day. The beds are comfy,you get a towel and a lock without having to leave a deposit, they have an aircondition in the room that works super good and it is quiet in the night. What more could you possibly expect. Couldn't feel more home.

Definitely recommended

There's certainly nothing better for the price in Cancun. The team is super helpful, they've always given me tips on what I can and should see in Cancun and Mexico, and Mauricio, the owner, also recommended a hostel for my next destination. The rooms are simple but perfectly sufficient. A big plus for me: there's a clean women's bedroom. The price includes a small breakfast and a shared dinner, so you can also get to know and exchange other hostel guests. The rooms are very simple, but you still have everything you need and shower with warm water. Anyone who doesn't want to stay in the hotel zone will definitely find something here.

Top price performance ratio

Until we arrived at the hostel we thought it was a little strange because it seemed to be too cheap for everything it provided in the ad, but we soon saw that it was all that and much more! In addition to the great cost benefit (we were in a room with two double beds) that really impressed us, the hostel has a whole environment that is at once familiar, receptive and casual. We felt very dear to everyone, the staff all friendly and friendly, the owners as well, and the dogs were very charming, Dante and Mursi made us very happy. I just loved

Really nice hostel near the bus station. They serve breakfast and even dinner. The staff is really friendly and speaks English as well. The rooms could be a little bit cleaner and there is not an AC in every room.

Nice hostel to start your trip in México

We are a couple who arrived at Orquideas without knowing what to expect and are really happy to have arrived at Hostel Orquideas as they welcomed us and the whole atmosphere is very nice, it's familiar, and what about the breakfast and dinner (included) are very good!!

The Family

I've been traveling for 5 months, and nowhere else have I felt as comfortable as in a hostel for orchids. Since I arrived I've been very well received. As in my house, so much so that at dinners we all sit down to eat as a family. To me that's worth more than any other luxury. Mauricio, the owner is a charm of life, I'll always be grateful to him for everything he's done for me and his beautiful wife who today is my Mexican mother. The atmosphere is super quiet and homegrown. And the desires are blunt. 100% recommended. Dante, a beautiful perrito will make your mornings very happy, it's the law you play with him. And I assure you that if you come, you won't want to leave. And if you come in the heart of my heart, you will return to my heart.

Excellent service, not the most luxurious hostel, but it is always clean, the owner and staff welcomed me with the best and quickly made me feel at home, costing me so much to come back several times.
