Cabo San Lucas Hostel

Spur of the moment 24 hr trip to Cabo and just needed the basics: bed, toilet, shower. Found CSLH on another site and after confirming it met my basic needs I booked instantly online paying just the $5 online booking fee. I regret not taking better notes before embarking on my adventure because after taking a shuttle from the airport ($17 USD) and was dropped off at a nearby hotel, I had quite a difficult time finding the hostel itself. It is a small apartment on the top floor of an apartment complex, with a TINY sign in the window that says CSLH. So if you're like me and NOT detail-oriented and you're not looking up you will pass right by and not even know. Had to flag a moped guy down and ask him to call the phone number and verify the location because I was standing right out front but had no clue I was in the right place. After meeting Anna, all my nerves were put to rest. She collected the very reasonable fee and a $10 key deposit and she gave me directions and tons of recommendations. She is super nice and had great energy about her! She teaches Spanish too, so that might entice some to stay longer! The place was quite small, clean and very basic. I stayed in the front room that just had one bunk bed and a lamp. (I happened to be the only guest at the time, but I believe she has room for 6) I went out and enjoyed the party life of Cabo until very late, slept and woke early. The hostel was exactly what I needed, which again, wasn't much. Would highly recommend for solo travelers on a budget to get a taste of Cabo. The beach was seriously a 5 min walk straight down the street from Mango-Deck (spring break central). I enjoyed my 1 night stay SO much, in fact, that I really didn't want to even write a review for fear that Anna's hostel-room becomes such a hot spot there won't be room on my next visit and or the price goes up. If I'm being honest, isn't that what happens with precious gems?
