We have visited the Kudafushi Resort a few times, nevertheless each holiday stay comprised of its unique characteristics and glamorous offerings ! We initially came to the Kudafushi Resort & Spa in the Maldives for a brief and quality relaxing holiday as I am engaged in the Finance Risk segment in the UK and my agenda is significantly demanding. Upon glancing at the ‘water landing platform’ from the seaplane I was enchanted by the exclusive elegance of the resort situated amidst exquisite selection of in-ocean villas in a gulf of white sandy beaches intertwined with bright green flora and surrounded by crystal blue ocean lagoon ! Immediately with our arrival, the resort warmly welcomed us and exhibited professionalism, competency, exceptional service, attentive attitude and positive responsiveness towards meeting our needs on a routine basis. Significant ‘thank you’ to the resort onsite Reservations team under the management of Sahan K with an office in London, UK who contributed significantly to making my stay pleasant, convenient, diverse, exceptionally coordinated and variedly interesting by enabling efficient modification of the booking terms, swift execution of new reservations requests and including an excellent selection of external activities such as coordinating a visit to a neighbouring resort to naturally augment the feature of a unique Maldivian experience ! We stayed in an in-ocean villa accommodation, which was located opposite the water landing platform of the Resort whereas the consistent seaplane arrival and departure provided an excellent observation point and complete interaction with the in-ocean present activities. In my most recent holiday, I had the opportunity to participate in a few island trips including sunset cruises, dolphin excursions and local island visits, with a value added attendance to a few volleyball games located in the Raa Atoll Meedhoo island ! I was fascinated by the resort amenities and immediately understood that this is a truly unique resort with a clearly embedded ‘exceeding guests expectations approach’ and an enthusiastic attitude to ensure that the guest is fully supplied during their holiday- via an exceptional service at the Restaurant and professionalism exhibited in key operational segments. The resort is exceptionally clean, well- managed, easily accessible and offers an exquisite combination of variety of activities amidst white sandy beaches, green flora and exclusive selection of beach and water villa accommodation ! Amidst the adventure of a well defined exclusivity, exceptional service was witnessed across the three restaurants at the resort, the reservations segment, in resort transport arrangements, maintenance and in-villa dining whereas professionalism, responsiveness and commitment to diligence were underlying characteristics in the execution of embedded requirements. I am specifically pleased by the attention to detail, excellency, enthusiasm and commitment to diligence on behalf of the Front Office Management team under the coordination of Saamir which attempted to take the ‘extra mile’ and exceed preliminary expectations to ensure we not solely have a convenient and interactive stay, but we furthermore experience the magic of the island by providing us with an insight into kayaking, water sports, local island excursions and volleyball game tournament visits! Specific ‘thank you’ to the Restaurant Management and ‘In-Villa dining’ services under F&B Pichini for the continuously demonstrated exemplary diligence, professional commitment and creative leadership in maintaining an excellent selection of Oriental, Mediterranean, Maldivian and European cuisine intertwined with traditional English flavours. This profound understanding of taste anticipation related to guests’ preferences established a magnificent foundation for setting a global cuisine scene represented by leadership in a culture of excellency ! Significant ‘thank you’ to the resort Reservations Team, under the management of Sahan for being extremely efficient, diligent, punctual and flexible in arranging and confirming the internal bookings in the system as well as coordinating the seaplane transfers. This brilliant insight, professionalism, dedication, responsiveness, diligence and value-added positive contributions have been evident in circumstances necessitating ‘effortless functionality and immediate connectivity’ with respect to unprecedented arrangements in scope of the booking terms. I have significantly appreciated the involvement of the General Manager Jameel for the consecutive accommodating, welcoming, positive attitude and resourcefulness as well as the engagement of the internal Promotions segment for the transparent communication related to resort amenities, functionality, seasonal offerings and package design. This leadership, impeccable vision, positive engagement and understanding of clients’ needs have formulated as essential characteristics underlying the resort management and transpiring in effective execution, embedded functionality and impactful teamwork when assessing the daily requirements. I have visited a significant number of Maldivian Resorts, inclusive of designated 5- Stars Resorts and am aware of what underlying factors consist of an exclusive holiday package ! Nevertheless, the unique combination of magnificent scenery, exquisite cuisine, picturesque in-ocean and beach front villa accommodations, and extraordinary service in the Kudafushi resort converted our holiday into memorable, special and a very exclusive one !
