Adaaran Select Meedhupparu

Just returned from 3rd visit, although we have also been to other islands. In the past we have upgraded to a water villa but this time it was a beach villa (250) There have been improvements in the food and drink offered around the island, the premium all inclusive package is very good. We loved the food at the Thavaa and Sufura restaurants and Cafe Mass now has a lovely selection of lighter bites, ideal for lunch. The guys and girls in Cafe Mass do a brilliant job not just sorting food and drinks but ensuring tables are correctly allocated on a first come first served basis when its busy (not an easy task when people push to the front). The guys in the Sunset bar deserve a mention, lovely to chat to and they serve excellent drinks. Entertainment is low key, the saxophonist and two guys playing the guitar provide a really nice relaxing background each evening. We were never bothered by anyone trying to sell extras such as meals on the beach, where the likes of big prawns or lobster were offered, the pricing structure was clear. We did have the big prawns one evening and they were excellent value for money. I cannot comment if the pool table is still broken, ( a previous reviewer) we did not travel all that way to a stunning tropical island to play pool indoors. The room was kept very clean and although the wooden sunbeds outside our room were old they were fine. Overall a brilliant break, every member of staff we met was so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back
