The employees could'nt be more attentive. This hotel is placed really near the bikini beach in Gulhi. Gulhi is much better than Maafushi, so...come to Gulhi and come to Orchid. Breakfast gives energy to spent al day snorkelling or diving.  This hotel is very close to Adventure Diving Maldives Gulhi, whose dive master Anees is just the best. We spent 4 nights in this relaxing hotel.

The staff was so attentive !! The staff is always willing to help and they are all the time with good humour, always smiling. 
It has a good location. It has clean and modern rooms with good facilities.
It is located near restaurants and beach.
It has  snorkelling gear to lend you in case you need it.
Breakfast is really delicious and the dinner is really tasty as well.
The island itself is breathtaking!!!

Very nice service

We walked in Orchid Island Lodge after checking most of the other similarly priced guesthouses on Gulhi island. We decided on Orchid based on its proximity to the beach, the artistic decor and beautiful rooms, but most of all the gentlemen that run it. Although we turned up early in the morning, they received us happily and their services never lacked an inch.

The best value for money guesthouse on Gulhi

Great couple of guys who run this guest house.  Very comfortable

I had problems finding some basic information before arriving in Maldives so have added here

We aimed at $60- $70 per night B&B on most islands including all extras
Meals cost around $8 per dish half that if you go to locals' place. Plenty of choice on islands we visited

Everyone we met were fun, friendly and honest

Try and persuade your accommodation to offer refill water so bottles can be reused.  Discarded plastic bottles huge problem on the islands
