Sun Siyam Vilu Reef

I just returned from a wonderful stay at **Sun Siyam Vilu Reef**, where I celebrated my and my best friend’s birthday's — and it was truly unforgettable! **Transport:** Upon arrival at the airport, we were picked up and taken to the Sun Siyam lounge. It was very comfortable, and we didn’t have to wait long. Within 20 minutes, we boarded our seaplane. The flight from Malé to the resort took around 40 minutes and was smooth and scenic. **Check-in:** At the jetty, we were warmly welcomed by the front office team dressed in traditional Maldivian attire, with traditional music playing in the background. It was such a beautiful first impression! We were escorted to the check-in lounge where we met our amazing island host, **Niyaaf**. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and caring throughout our entire stay. He arranged all our bookings and handled our requests with a smile. Thank you, Niyaaf — you truly made our trip more comfortable and memorable! **Accommodation:** We stayed in a **Reef Water Villa** with the all-inclusive package. The villa was beautiful, spotless, and very cozy. Special thanks to **Rakesh**, who surprised us daily with creative bed art. We also want to thank **Yubaraj** for the lovely birthday decorations and gifts in the villa — such a thoughtful gesture! **Dining:** For breakfast, we enjoyed the buffet at **The Aqua**. For lunch and dinner, we booked **The Well Done** and **The Spice**. There was a great variety of food, and everything was absolutely delicious. A special mention to **Ram** from The Well Done and another fantastic waiter whose name I unfortunately forgot — both provided excellent service. Thank you also to **Juri** at the **Positive Energy Pool Bar** for always being so friendly and welcoming. **Entertainment & Activities:** We loved the evening entertainment, especially the live music duo, DJ sessions, and the bartender show. On Thursdays, there’s a **Management Cocktail Party**, where the General Manager and department heads introduce themselves and personally interact with guests — such a nice touch! **Overall:** All the staff at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef were friendly, professional, and always eager to ensure we were enjoying our holiday.
