Agoda with TnT Novelty Vacation house (Teluk Intan) owner issues? Bringing guests a lot of trouble, the hotel owner is very impolite, and we only give trouble. Very very not recommend this TnT Novelty vacation house Teluk intan very poor Service, the room is very old,  👎👎👎👎👎specially is the owner 👎👎👎👎😰😰😰😰😰

Not recommended to stay

Very horrible experience, probably worst so far. 

When I reached the place and showed the lady boss the booking receipt with the fully advance payment. She insisted that she never received the booking at all. And then she wanted me to pay cash. I replied that I can pay cash, but I need to cancel my booking to get the refund, but she stopped me and threatened me not to do the refund.

After that, I found that many had similar experiences from the Google map comments. Lesson learned. 

Please do not make the same mistake by booking this homestay.

We just stay a night at TnT. Environment is great. Mr Teh is very friendly. Room is clean and neat. Some pets there is cute which will make your stay more joyful.

location is not far from Teluk Intan Tower. A good choice for short stay

A short stay, a nice stay

The homestay is very unique. Personally I think the public areas could be rearrange and make place for better walking and wheelchair. 
Overall it is clean. Rooms are not small because the toilet is huge. It is rather cramp to have three beds in a room.
Staff communication skills need to be improved a lot. Some customers may find it very rude or impolite. To me, she was ill manners and less tactful in treating the customers when problems arise unexpectedly. 
Overall this is an unique place to have a short stay.

A very bad experience.. The owner does not know how to talk to customers. Or I would say precisely that she has no manners. I booked a family room through booking.com that accomodate 5 guests. There are 7 of us but only 5 are going to stay. My uncle and my father came to drop us off but they wanted to use the bathroom to freshen up themselves after long drive from KL. We would probably understand and give in if she just say politely that it is their rules that they don't let anyone in except for those who are staying. But the lady was literally shouting and told my father "cannot cannot.. u go wash your face at public toilet la". And my father was asking her earlier that i'm their father i don't have the rights to go in? She replied "their father not my father what". Like seriously is this how you talk to your customers? She claimed that she has been managing the homestay for the past 20 years but she has no rights like NO RIGHTS to talk us or any other customers in this manner. She's might have 20 years experience in managing the place but i think its high time for her to go back to school to learn some basic manners. Anyway,  we manage to get our refund because of her daughter who was basically pacifying the situation (probably afraid of negative review) but i don't care. No customers deserve to be treated in this way. Its not about the money nor the place its about how to treat people. Give respect take respect..

Worst attitude

For a stopover or a short stay in Teluk Intan, this motel is recommended. It is clean and it does not allow footwear to be worn into the room. The motel is run by a family and they are very friendly. They can recommend the best food in Teluk Intan. 

It is a rather unique place as the furniture there are made from cengal wood and can be purchased. The owner kept her cats and hamsters in the common area and we were afforded the opportunity to play with one of her cats.

For the rate we paid, we have no complains at all would have no qualms recommending others to stay here.

Clean Place & Friendly Staff

TnT certainly is as its name suggests, "novelty". Guests will have an overwhelming appreciation for cengal wood as it's architectural design all pays homage to the beauty of cengal. Even the cats' abode which will talk about later.
We booked the family suite + 3 other rooms for our visit. We could park all 3 of our vehicles within the house, on 1st come 1st served basis. Lots of space to congregate and relax. Cups, plates, bowls, and hot water freeflow. All rooms generously appointed with plug points no one needs to share power source - this is a current day extreme plus! Rooms and bathrooms also well provided with hooks, hangers and counterspace. Proximity of this location is superb access to town center and other eating places. For all the above I would actually give it 5stars, not for class but for practicality. Although I would suggest the addition of towel rails in the bathrooms for airing out towels.

Now comes a serious sore point and not one to be taken lightly and the reason for the 1star. 
Mine is a family of animal lovers and we all have pets both cats and dogs. For all the practicality mentioned for the house, the same does not extend to their 24x7x365 caged Persian cats. Although also made of cengal, the 2 cages housing 3 cats only hv room for them to walk across from 1 shelf to another barely a foot apart. There is no space for them to stretch or scratch as cats must do. They are kept in the dark and their narrow floor space is taken up by their litter tray which shares the same space as their food and water. They never can bask in sunlight or nature watch. Their only life is to sleep on a narrow ledge of a shelf 24x7x365. Utter cruelty in a house of so much unused space. While we were there from 27-29 Dec 2017, their droppings also covered the floor of their cage and remained that way for most of the day.  CRUELTY is the only description for this condition.
I hope the owners of this abode take this criticism seriously and turn the wasted space into a spacious and practical cat house for the health of their pets. The property has enough wood lying about to make a wonderful cat gym that will entertain both cats and guests.
