Nothing I like or positiveThis is the worst of my many years travelling experienceI even doubt Expedia quality acceptance standard for listing such placeToiletries is none existence at all, hence do not ask me for photos as EVIDENCE, I cannot take photos of something that does not exist.The whole so called hotel only rely on 1 staff, I would say is entirely the property owner fault, the staff (NOTE IS ONLY 1 STAFF) had done their parts.

the hotel have to improve much, shower water flow are slow, carpet not vacume, no safety door, the room door just using the normal knob, the hotel should produce more iron so the guest dont have to iron the clothes outside the room, should build a lift, easier for guest who get 3rd floor room, no one at loby counter when guest want to early check out, the location was very good, the view is to beautiful, but it was a waste when this problem accured. hope this comment can improve the hotel

An okay place to stay for a night. If you feel like staying for another night, don't. Kindly find other place to stay. Hygiene wise? Dirty. Floor was dirty, carpet? all worn out please replaced it with a brand new one. Very dim light in the bathroom. Water pressure was EXTREMELY slow. Found a baby cockroach in the sink.... The remote control of the AC  needed to be replaced with a brand new one (the display cant show the temperature properly) and the reception area was... messy. Atleast invest some money and upgraded the area oh my god.

Terrible.

The room was so bad we found somewhere else to stay. The room was dirty, sheets stained, bed cover had holes. The wifi did not work nor did the fridge.  AC did not cool room enough.  We insisted on our money back, which we got, less the couple of hours we were there while we looked for alternate accommodation.  I would not recommend.

Check in late into this place and waited another hour as it was their Ramadan breakfast timing. Very first impression wasn't already ideal as it was totally deserted with only a handful of occupancy. Stated free WiFi but found out from reception there was none due to breakdown of the Internet. Room was old and overdue too. However, the receptionist was very friendly and she explained to us many details on this hotel. She even personally sent us our booking receipt to our room as we have forgotten it. Location wise, best for fishing at sea as it was near the sea. Other than that walking distance to the Penang national park. Finding breakfast was more difficult as its long way to the market. Overall, I would only say book this place if you are going to stay for fishing. Your own transportation is a must too. 

Basic Budget 

We booked 2 nights due to its location near National Park and because it had free wifi and air-conditioning.
The bloke on reception did not make us feel welcome at all.  When he finally got round to finding our booking, he handed us the key and we had to prompt him to tell us where our room was.... but he did provide us with the wifi password.... but neglected to tell us at the time that the wifi was not working and had not for days!
The room was filthy, the bedspread had cigarette burn holes and was dirty and the sheet was filthy, the room stunk!  Probably from the dirty carpet on the floor.
Bathroom was not clean.
We turned on the fridge, it got hot instead of cold!   Oh a pair of dirty undies was behind the fridge when we turn it on! 
The air conditioning was not cooling the room!  
After giving the air conditioner a chance to it remained ineffective. I approached the man on reception and told him about the wifi and fridge he said he would get a technician by 5 pm.  I informed him that if not fixed by 5pm we would want our money back and find somewhere else to stay..... and that is what happened.... minus the charge for the couple of hours that we stored our bags while we looked elsewhere.

Don’t bother

We arrived late evening to find a lady outside who said the receptionist has gone for an hour's break. We left our luggage and took a walk down the street looking for food. When we came back he was there. 

The online pictures are not what we arrived to. Maybe this was a hit in yester year but now totally a flop. I cleaned the bathroom on arrival. Asked for clean linen sheets since our ones had stains and blood. I was told the stains are from the laundry detergent. And what about the blood stains?

My friend asked for toilet paper as there was none in her room. We waited over an hour for the toilet paper and clean sheets or duvet cover. When I went downstairs to ask they told me the laundry is closed so I will get them tomorrow. First night with dirty linen. 

Security is not a focus. Maybe this is not important in Penang. The front door to the rooms is open and looking towards the street. Our rooms don't have any smart security locking system. 

The carpet looks grey and dirty I was itching walking around barefooted. There was not much we can do to change this as everything was paid up. Glad I am only here for an unbearable two nights.

The only highlight was waking up to a beautiful sunset. It was nice seeing the fishermen go out to sea. 

Would not go here. I guess you pay for peanuts you get entertained as monkeys.

Filthy, muky waters, stained linen, unprofessional service

The room smell as we walked in, decided to open all windows to air out but did not help.we decided to check another hotel in the area but not much choice.My sister decided to remove all the pillows and the bed cover outside and borrow pillows from a family nearby.in order to sleep there, we able to stay three nights glad to move to Batu Ferringgi for better hotel.

Big clean room with nice bathroom, good bed, good aircon and a big noisy fridge. The rooms on the 3rd floor have very nice view on the sea. Every rooms have a balcony, but without furnitures. The hotel is just at the entrence of the National Park, so you can walk and hike in the jungle to the Monkey Beach and to the Turtle Beach. When you rent a boat try to share it with other people and you can share the rental fee too. Taluk Bahang is a very calm, quiet fisching village, there is the terminal of the bus No. 102 starting at the airport of Penang, (for 5 MYR). If you like the hot hotels on the beaches don't come here. This hotel is for tourists who like the nature, monkeys, lizards, birds, butterflys..
