Meva Guesthouse

We received a warm welcome, despite the late hour we arrived. The room was very clean and comfortable, with small, thoughtful touches throughout (e.g drinking water and a snack were given). The property is beautiful and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Madagascar.

Clean and comfortable rooms. We had the room in the main building on the first floor, which has a big balcony. From there you have a nice view of the surroundings. 
The location is perfect, as a starting point to discover the area without being stuck in traffic getting in Tana. It is also close to the international airport. 
If you like, you can have tasty lunch/dinner at the guesthouse or book a tour. Would recommend!

My daughter and I had a lovely experience at Meva's.  We booked last minute and they arranged for airport transfers to and from the airport.  They also recommended and arranged transport to a nice restaurant not too far from the guest house.  Mbola, the manager, is professional, kind, and ready to help out with anything you need.  There is a kitchen/dining area for guests to use, and a spacious garden area.  The room had beautiful large windows, wood floors, and a large bathroom.  Although the guesthouse is near the bustling streets, it was quiet and peaceful in the room.  We plan to return to Meva's on our next trip!

I can highly recommend Ramartour. Me and my boyfriend spent two weeks in Mada. When planning the trip we rented a car with  the tour company and only this and an other company rents a car withouth driver. They follow us before, during and after our trip and the car was new and in perfect conditions. The staff speaks in different languages and they are very kind.

We stayed at Meva when we first arrived and in between internal flights. Wendy and her staff were great - helpful, relaxed, friendly and reliable. We got picked up and dropped at the airport. Excellent to have local knowledge re being ok to walk to supermarket and where to eat. Clean and comfortable. We went on the bike ride day tour - lovely guides and would go again if we could find the courage again to ride like a local an inch from trucks :/ 

I really loved staying here, it's in a great location right by the airport, it's clean and it has hot water. It's very quirky too which I liked - lots of character in the room design. If I was traveling alone I would definitely stay here; the open kitchen gives you opportunity to meet people if you want to. The staff are very friendly, and Mbula couldn't have been kinder to us! Their airport pick ups were on time, and they made us the most delicious meals. I would definitely stay here again!

Meva is very close to Ivato airport and we stayed here because we had booked a car with driver with Ramartour who operates the guest house. The rooms were simple but nice and staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent and so were the drivers who picked us up at the airport and drove us to Andasibe and then to Toliara.

The Guesthouse is situated in a rather poor environment but when the Gates open you'll find a small well managed paradise. The whole facillity is lovely decorated and run well by her owner who will do anything to feel you save and comfortable.

Mix between guesthouse and Hostel. Lots of people staying who were drinking outside at night which was noisy. Also lots of noise from doors opening and closing. Fair price for room which was clean and comfortable. Airport transfer was pricey at 30,000 Ar (daytime) or 50,000 Ar (evening). Food also not cheap - basic but reasonable quality.

Relaxed, cooperative staff and a Spacious room, with A variety of animals welcoming you on site. Owner Wendy created a small quiet oasis in the busy district and all staff do their utmost to allow for A great stay. Late checkout can be discussed in case of flight departing late.
