Lindenhoff

We were hiking across Gauja National Park and stayed at Lindenhoff (Liepas muiža) for one night. Of course, it was a d-tour for us but definately worth it. The place is recently renovated, quite and very nice. It was half empty though June is a start of the high season here in Latvia and we were there from Sat to Sun. I think it is avalable on booking only from this year (2019). So that might be why. The staff was very friendly, when we came in, one of us had to go to buy some groceries, so the staff member who met us (an older man) gave a lift to a nearby shop and waited to give a lift back. Thank you! We had a two room apartment and that included a small kitchen and a fridge which came in really handy for cooling of a bottle of prosecco. They were serving excellent breakfast in another of the recently renovated buildings. Surounding landscape is very beautiful and I think there is much to see nearby, we hope to return and do cycling trip around the region. So all in all I would sugest this place to anyone who loves beatiful Latvian landscape, likes to stay in a quite place and enjoys nature.
