We were transiting through Almaty and needed accommodation overnight for an early morning flight. Made a booking for this hotel and did not hear back. Finally, I did hear back but is was all in Russian - lucky for me I had a guide who spoke Russian so was able to confirm the arrangements. We requested a pickup and drop at the airport. I was very apprehensive when we got out of the airport but was pleased to see pick up was arranged - a good clean and comfortable car. Reception did not speak any English but the lady was very helpful - with signs, drawings and translations on the phone we understood each other. My request for a wake-up call at 4.30Am was understood and we were woken up on time and the car to take us to the airport was waiting at 5.00 AM. The room and linen were clean - the entrance is not flash but overall we were relieved and pleased with our stay.
