Magic place, small rooms under the stars in the middle of the desert. Atayek really knows how to receive, he surprised to celebrate a friend's birthday, great music and meals... the shared evenings, meals around the fire, the trecks, the arches, etc... everything is magic, we just want to get back to it as soon as possible! The Magical Desert of Atayek

What an amazing experience. Super chilled vibe around camp with traditional Bedouin/Jordanian feasts. These were only a part of the charms of what is on offer here. Atayek is a great host and has a wealth of information to share, he goes above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable trip in the desert. I felt honoured to have this authentic experience with him and his family. Whether climbing, hiking or just wanting a taste of life in and around the desert, I would highly recommend the Bedouin Family Camp. Thanks Atayek for a truly memorable experience.

Unforgettable experience

A wonderful experience with Atayek's brother, very attentive, good guide, adorable, and the night in the desert is unforgettable, a very pleasant and comfortable camp, a delicious dinner, adorable Bedouins, absolutely to do.

We had a very nice day in the desert with our guide. Everything was very well organized with the best views. Traditional Bedouin meal in the guide's family. Everyone was very nice. No worries with the organizer.

An experiment was conducted in the Wadi rum desert.

We spent 3 beautiful days in Wadi Rum and were very well taken care of by Atayek and his team. Comfortable tents for sleeping with a super clean laundry room next door. There is a cozy authentic Bedouin tent for eating and staying. On the evening after the day's return there was a relaxing place for all guests around the fireplace with the opportunity to exchange each other first and then a delicious meal. Atayek still discussed the program for the next day with us every night and was always open to our wishes. So we could see a lot of things on our own with two jeeps and one day on our own façade and the taste of the countryside. Finally, he slept under a change of scenery with a night's sleep.

Excursion through the Desert

We are a couple of climbers and we stayed at Atayek's for 3 weeks. We were looking for simplicity, discretion and discovery of the Bedouin life. Everything was perfect! Atayek is a straightforward, honest and serious person. He is here to give us good advice, answer our questions and needs, remain discreet if we want to be independent...and he is a real cook! His family is also. We will keep a great memory of this stay and hope to be able to come back soon!

Climbing in Wadi Rum

A great thank you to Atayek for sharing the Bedouin life with such generosity and authenticity. 2 days and 2 nights in Wadi Rum is, in my opinion, the minimum to fully appreciate the place and the very special atmosphere that emanates from it. Atayek is an excellent guide who knows his desert at his fingertips. He perfectly encompasses your desires and what you are looking for to best suit the stay which is therefore unique.

Real experience

Atayek and his family and the Wadi Rum community could not have been more welcoming and fun to spend time with! The camp is brilliant, we had some beautiful meals, and heard stories and songs around the fire. We got taken to a beautiful spot to climb the rocks and watch the sun set over the most magical place I’ve ever been to. Cannot recommend enough, I felt very safe and welcome the whole time and will definitely be back! Thanks Atayek

Unforgettable adventure awaits!

Our family stay in the Rum wadi was wonderful. Thank you to Athallah and his family for their hospitality, to the cook (I've lost the name, sorry), thank you to Anne for her advice and availability. I recommend the formula we chose: arriving late afternoon (from Petra which allowed us to spend another big morning in Petra) welcome and departure to the desert, night sheltered from a torch, friendly evening around a fire, an entire day in the desert and yet another night, enjoyed in advance by knowing the night before and returned quietly the next day. So we enjoyed an entire day, seeing the mountain range that separates from Arabia, going to the market in huge dunes with colorful rocks and blocks of desert, returning with a superb discovery, a superb bliss.
