Hotel Naeba White Palace

We stayed in a garden room and everything was clean and tidy. I think the rooms may have had a make over fairly recently but not enough in my opinion and certainly the bathrooms need to be radically upgraded to make it worthy of 5 stars. However, having said that the staff are amazing and make the hotel a nice place to stay. They are always smiling (which must be very difficult at times) and very helpful. There was always a good choice of food in the main restaurant and of a good quality. The beach staff worked diligently each day to clear away the seaweed which was a bit like painting the Forth bridge - never ending. You are able to take two a la carte meals whilst there, which are overlooking the sea. The Greek restaurant I will thorough recommend but not the Asian. You are sitting on café seats (which are like cheese graters if you are wearing a skirt),they need cushions and table cloths, to help too make it feel like an a la carte restaurant not the place you sit when you come off the beach. The Asian food choice was very limiting unless you wanted to pay extra and not very exciting. A big disappointment that night. A very big plus for this hotel is the excellent children's club. The staff work tirelessly all day and again in the evening. My grandson who has never been keen to participate in a hotel club was eager to go. Overall we had a very good holiday but the room facilities need to be upgraded to get that extra star.
