Kaikake Onsen, a 750 years old hidden away mountain hot spring retreat located in Niigata prefecture Japan, only one and half hours by bullet train from Tokyo. Kaikake Onsen is owned and run by an old tradition family, a truly uniquely Japanese traditional way of spending time to unwind after busy my Tokyo trip and all the staffs at this Onsen are really friendly and genuinely hospitable, making you feel like at home. Amazingly just after a second day, I had best sleep in months at this Onsen hotel, now I fully understood Japanese's way of longevity life come with mountain air, spring water, fresh food, sake and hot spring.....😜 Thanks Kaikake
