Great location, close to transport and lots of food options

Excellent place to stay! Walking distance from Ueno! Large rooms for families and all the amenities you need.

Location is close to metro stations. Large rooms comfortably hosted a family of 6.

Very safe area.  Close to train stations and lots of places to eat.  Room was good size.  Would come back here again.

This is a very nice apartment style hotel, we were 5 people in a 6 people room, it was cozy, but we still had space to have 8 suitcases and carry-ons around the room (not all open at same time.Elevators move pretty quick, checkin was easy (we did English), washing machines available on site, access to transportation was easy piezy.A lot of our go to restaurants were nearby. Ueno park was within walking distance. Shopping was easy, supermarket and Daiso are 2 blocks away.No Parking, but...there are a bunch of lots around, I even got to arrive to one late at night, and left before 8am and it cost me ¥990, so ¥110 an hour for 9 hours. Some tricks for this hotel - No package or luggage delivery, Yamato is 3 blocks away, you can get it delivered there open 8am-8pm, and for packages i.e. from Amazon if it if sold by Amazon you can pick it up at the Lawson around the corner.

We are a family of 5, there was plenty of room, the hotel room was clean and warm, comfy beds and had a funky relaxed vibe! We loved it.

This is a very good place for family, the room is spacious and comfortable. Just a little reminder that the 24-hr front desk is not "real person" front desk.

Very convenient, all the shops and transport also in walking distance. Room is clean and big, very suitable for the family.

Our family of 5 spent 2 nights at this place. We booked the family unit which can fit 8 because we wanted more space and that everyone gets a bed. It's about 10min walk from Ueno station which is not too bad considering of our big luggages. Property is very new and clean. We arrived at 3pm and there was a staff at the counter who was very friendly and helpful with our check-in.

Pleasant and comfortable stay

Very near to the Keisei Ueno station, plenty of late night food options around the property. The room itself is spacious and clean, equipped with a kitchen and dining area. The self-check in and check out process is fast and smooth. The only issue is that the luggage storage area is way too small and everyday between 10am (after people have checked out) and before 3pm (before people can check in), the entire luggage storage area is completely overwhelmed and it might be difficult to store and find your suitcase.

Love the location- how close it was to Ameyoko and Ueno station. There’s also a 7 eleven nearby for our water and snacks. Laundry was easy and not too crowded. Check out was online and a breeze. A fewthings we didn’t like: lack of receptionist manning the front (can’t help with forwarding luggage) and that our trash wasn’t cleared. All in all was a great stay and good value.

Excellent hotel in an amazing location. Hotel was clean, quiet, nicely styled and very comfortable. Room was a good size with bunks and 2 double beds which was perfect for a family of 3 adults and 1 teen. Fantastic location, close to train stations and Ameyoko shopping street, many restaurants and activities.

First time in Japan as a family of six. This hotel was able to accommodate us all and was really convenient that everyone had their own bed. Place was clean although there was some stains on the couch but nothing major. Laundry in the facility was super convenient. Safe neighborhood and close to the stations. Overall we liked the location and would stay here again.

We are a family of 5 and we enjoyed our stay.   After reading reviews, i was nervous about the self check in but i completed the pre-check as soon as it was emailed to me.  When we arrived, i used their ipad to call the cloud desk who provided me my room # and key code right away.  Checking in was a breeze.The room layout and size was great for us.  We got the bunk beds with full size mattresses on the bottom.  We never felt crowded.  And it was great to have a seating area and a table for when we ate in.  The tv remote was a bit dirty, and we could see hand prints smeared on the outer side of the bunk beds, so i dont think everything was wiped, but we always bring sanitize wipes with us and so we easily took care of that ourselves.  Our garbage got full, and our body wash got low half waybl through our stay.  I emailed them and they took care of both right away.We liked that the hotel is on a quieter street.  It was great for morning walks and getting an uber to drive right up to us.  There is a variety of convenience stores: family marts, lawson, and 7-11s well within a couple of blocks.  Laundry is on 1st level and is super convenient.  We would stay here again.

Comfortable 4-night stay for 4 people in a Family Room with 2 large lower bunks and 2 upper bunks. Spacious for Tokyo with a separate sitting area, multiple closets, a kitchenette and excellent bathroom facilities. Great location within a 5 minute walk of Okachimachi station and the Ameya-yokocho market. Remotely facilitated checkin was a new experience for us but went smoothly. This was our favourite accommodation on our whole trip to Japan.

Minn Ueno is VERY close to some major shopping complexes and Tokyo Station. I believe Okachimachi is the closest stop. Lots of pharmacies and convenience stores. The lobby is nice and bright, and the room size was great, go for the Family Superior room if you need anything like normal American hotels, lol. We had 2 actual double beds and 2 lofted twin bunkbeds that were very sturdy and not one of those "shaky" bunks. Very responsive to messages and emails despite lack of human presence at the desk. Good job!

Great location and room size

It was great staying at Minn Ueno. Walking distance from metro and 3 different chain of quick marts.  The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was strong. Only weird thing was that there were no staff at the front desk. Staff can be called on a tablet. They answered quickly and was helpful.
