Was a bit worried in the beginning as I didn't get a reply on my email asking for a reservation. It was probably because they speak little English. So we asked Japanese people to book the accommodation. Upon arrival in Takachiho, the manager picked us up at the bus station. She proposed to bring us to the evening theatre. One hour later she returned to pick us up again. Spacious room. If you order in advance she can prepare a typical Japanese breakfast. The next day she gave us a drop off service to the tourist information center where we could leave our luggage and walk to the beautiful gorge.
