The hotel management operate a shuttle service that picks you up from the station Kashikojima on the Kintetsu line at certain times.The drive to the hotel takes about twenty minutes. The hotel building itself looks a bit weathered from the outside but the rooms and public areas are well-maintained. Its location right at the seaside makes for a good view from your room, which is a spacious tatami room with a seating area and a small balcony. There is no private bath, because you can use the o-furo, but a sink with cold and hot water is in the room. The public bath is beautifully made of wood and the mens' bath on the fifth floor on the top of the building also has an open-air bath from which you can watch the Pacific and the stars. The food is tasty and artistically arranged. Dinner consists of lots of different courses. Breakfast is also a treat and throughout typical Japanese. The only concession to western tastes was the coffee jelly as part of the dessert.
