Sauna & Capsule Spadio Hotel

Subway station's right next to the hotel, also got convenient stores nearby. The price was great, with unlimited use of the hot spring spa. They provided free towels & toiletries, including skin lotion. The building itself was old but very clean, including the spa area. The capsules looked new enough and were also quite clean and comfortable. I think we got lucky and got the small room with only 4 capsules that opened from the side. The whole hotel layout was a bit awkward as you would need to navigate between the two elevators. The restaurant didn't look much, but the food was suprisingly nice, and it served till 1 or 2 AM on weekdays. Also, you're supposed to change into the clothes they provide. It's kinda like a uniform thing, I think? When you check in, they will give you a room key, a locker key, and a bag with towels, a set of clothes, and a bottle of water, as well as a sheet of information/instructions (LOL), so don't worry too much. To use the spa/shower, just take the stairs in the changing area; you can either strip there first and only bring your towels, or strip outside the spa area after you go up/down the stairs (depending on gender) - they said it didn't matter. I think you are at least supposed to change into the uniform thingy though, rather than walking up/down the stairs in your own clothes. And yes, you can bring that bag for the towels if you want, just leave it outside the spa area. We got there near midnight and pretty much had the whole spa to ourselves. Notice that the spa facilities close for 2-3 hours in the morning for cleaning. The cleaning staff only spoke a bit English but was very friendly and helpful. It was around 28 USD per person (for female) when we booked it online. Overall, it was a great and interesting experience - I'll definitely go back next time I visit Osaka!
