As lot of people comment, the room itself is not THAT luxurious. Food could be just normal as well (however, I love the fish from Ito so I always enjoy their super fresh sashimi - not when the weather is bad when they couldn't get the fresh fish). But what I love about this place is their bath overlooking the ocean. The quality of the water is great. Its a little heavy and slippery water with a bit of sulfur smell. This bath is just by far amazing than any of the luxurious ryokans. This is the reason I have repeated to come here more than 3 times all the way from Tokyo. Aside from that, you get the normal friendly service and will be served in the restaurant. Its a modern hotel-style-ryokan. The bathroom sink and shower areas are getting a little bit old and you can see here and there that the materials they use in your room are not the beautiful stones or woods - but is doable. Again, this is for the onsen lovers.
