An old hotel, casposo... in the public bathrooms no one wants to enter... the very small rooms, and the cameras even more. for one night, near the train station, it's not bad, but I don't recommend it at all. the breakfast, I doubt it's the typical Japanese breakfast... we have very bad breakfast. the receptionists, some very friendly, others not so much...

Our experience has been very bad.We mistakenly gave a room to smokers arguing that it was easy to get rid of the bad smell, spraying air conditioning throughout the room.Small room, old and expensive furniture.No recommended.

A total disappointment...

Nice and quiet hotel near Himeji Station. Rooms are decently sized for Japan, being nice and clean with a good view. Has a fridge and tv as well. The best part of the hotel is the bath and sauna on the first floor. It’s included in the price and was very welcome after exhausting drinking and touring around Japan. Can recommend and they were friendly to foreigners. 

Great hotel near station

A nice hotel just a few minutes walk from the train station.

The room I stayed in was clean and tidy and the bed was conformable. The bathroom was a bit small but was clean.

The staff at reception spoke only a little English, but were very friendly and helpful.

There are some vending machines in the corridors selling various drinks.

Decent hotel in Himeji.

Very small but clean rooms. Comfortable bed especially after a night at the monastery where we slept on a futon. This was paradise. Good but still Japanese lunch.

Small rooms like everywhere in Japan

It was in the initial stage of a freshening up when we visited. It's not very up to date, and a bit worn. Staff are courteous and efficient, and the station and the resaurants are all very close by. The castle is 20 minutes away.

A bit tired but convenient

The hotel has a good location and rooms larger than the average Japanese. It is allowed to smoke in many rooms and you can feel a little. The heating is with the air conditioner. It is very 80s and decadent. Breakfast is only with Japanese food but it is good. Forget fried eggs and bacon, but there is excellent fish. At the reception try to be clear, some are not used to speaking English and even though they are very nice it is difficult to understand. It is close to the station, so it is useful if you think of using it as a base to move around with the Japan rail pass.

Good location

Visiting the himeji castle is a unique experience, this hotel is full of free bikes and I recommend an evening tour with the castle lit up, plenty of breakfast but almost nothing western, rooms not small by the Japanese standard.

This western hotel is not typically Japanese, but conveniently located near the station and within walking distance of Himeji Castle (20 minutes).
