This place has been the best experience for us in Japan so far. Super friendly host and an amazing lodge made this a very special time. The bathroom and shower are shared, but for us it was just fine. We came here now, during winter time, and my guess is that it's better during ski season. Generally you'll need a car to get here, but the host will be glad to pick you up from the train station. Enjoy!
