B&B Ciro's House

Vico Equense is a good place to stay if you want to combine some of the vista's of the Sorrento peninsula with a visit to Pompei and Naples, and you won't be disappointed if you stay in this b&b. The house belongs to the family of a former pediatrist, who unfortunately passed away a few years ago, but who has spent a great deal of his life building this house. The passion of the father still lives on in the family who now runs the b&b. The house is just outside the centre of VE, still within walking distance but take into account that VE is located on a steep hill.. The house has parking (inside) for two cars, which is very handy because most of the attractions in the neighbourhood like Pompei or Naples can easily be reached by train (1.80€ pp), so you can leave your car safely in the house. The family is always available for tips and support if required. Valerio is even a very good boat-driver, who brought us to Capri in a personalised way.. Much better than any organised tour would do it. Every morning, the abundant breakfast is waiting, with specials made by the lady of the house and fruit from their own garden. Rooms are very clean and the airco is quiet! We even got a small fridge on request.. Last but not least, the view from the terrace is magnificent, with the Vesuvius on the right dominating the gulf of Naples and the little boats on the Sunday morning, moving like bees to a honey pot, in this case Capri (so, avoid going there in the weekend..).
