118 reviewsInitially our family stayed at Ca' San Trovaso 2 years ago. This year our daughter was visiting Venice while studying abroad in Florence so she chose to stay here again for a number of reasons. Alessandra could not have been more helpful in communicating with us when her train was delayed and helped her to get in with the code when she arrived late. This is a charming hotel on a quaint canal in the very locally situated (and quiet) Dorsoduro section, Minutes to St. Marks but away from the tourists! Also nearby is the Zattere Vaporetto stop and there are some good restaurants in the vicinity. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a roof top terrace for breakfast or you can have it in your room and their cappuccino is excellent. There's also a small kitchen on the second floor. No doubt we will stay here again if we return to Venice some day. Alessandra, thanks so much for your hospitality for Jessica!
