We had a fantastic stay in Venice last bank holiday weekend. The Alberto Marin hotel and apartments was in a perfect location, with everything right on your doorstep. We stayed in a delightful apartment and when you turned a corner off the main strip, no more than a two-minute walk, and suddenly it's peaceful and tranquil. It was also extremely close to all forms of transport, including boats, buses, and the train station, which made everything so convenient. We had a beautiful little courtyard with a table and chairs, and the whole setting felt like a postcard. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. For such a fantastic price, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you to all the staff — we would highly recommend this place and would love to come back. Xxxx

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.
