368 reviewsOur room was very spacious and comfortable. The room decor was very interesting; not sure which era it was from but was definitely very Venetian! To be honest, we didn't spend much time at the hotel as our days were spent in Venice. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant base to return to every night. We took the water taxi daily to Venice, which was very enjoyable. A similar hotel in Venice itself would cost so much more. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was very expensive but note that there is a quaint bakery just around the corner that has everything you need. There was also a very well stocked small grocery store nearby, so you have lots of options just minutes away. Lido di Venezia is very nice and we are glad that we didn't go with accommodations in Mestre, as Lido di Venezia with the water taxi rides and its quaintness makes the Venetian experience complete.

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities. A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel.
