Piaggetta B&B

I'll write this in English for the benefit of readers not speaking French... La Piaggetta is truly wonderful, as described in the previous two reviews. A very warm and friendly welcome from the two ladies who run the place, a huge mansion and dependencies (one wonders what the purpose of the entire structure used to be when it was built). Old stones, old trees in the huge park (well kept, nice for a stroll) that can surely tell stories. Total calm (yes, it takes a car to go anywhere, the place is isolated, out on the lake) but safe and worth the visit. The rooms are equipped with all you need, good beds, air-condition, good wifi (!), modern bath room (shower, no tub); generous breakfast buffet included in the price. We stayed two nights for two operas at the Puccini festival across the lake. If we are back in the region, we'll surely return to here.
