Hotel Teutschhaus

I am a Solo traveler, ( first time in Italy) and i choose the stay at Hotel Teutschhaus for a few reasons, The Location was pretty central to most things , not a city that was crowded, it was relaxing and quiet considering the size of this place. I sent a few emails around to other places but the responses i received from Hotel Teutschhaus were fantastic , answering all my questions, very helpful with information, and timely response, I was not pushed into a sale or rushed to make a reservation. Arrival at the Hotel ( i was picked up at the Train station) was very warm welcome from the owner , Pleasant and friendly. Front desk was very knowledgeable and answering all thew question and offering suggestions around the place and even beyond local areas. The staff were amazing,( Front Desk, Waiters and waitresses , cooks, and cleaners). All of the staff were friendly and polite, nothing ever was an issue, They took interest in your orders and if you were like me and ordered roughly the same thing they remembered and made life a lot easier instead of repeating myself, also if you had an empty place or and empty glass they came over to relieve the plate from your table and asked if you required another drink, you were not just a number or another customers. There were quiet a few people staying at the hotel while i was there but this did not impact the service which i was impressed even when busy the professional yet homely attitude did not down scale . The Hotels room were clean and nice, enough room to for my requirements even tho it didn't have a big room like the others it was still spacious for my needs. (other rooms were bigger but it depends on the room you book) The bathroom was nice with floor to ceiling tiles. The views are awesome from pretty much any room because the area is very eye pleasing. The hotel food and amenities. you could order a range of food every night, or depending on what you booked i had half board( buffet) the buffet was awesome and there is always something for everyone , huge range, nice fresh produce and the buffet time was wide so regardless on what time you wanted to dine it was not an issue and hot food was always there for you. The pool and sauna is a nice touch specially in the summer time after riding a bicycle ! table tennis , little grass park area was also nice, a storage place for your bicycle that was secure was fantastic as you did not have to worry about your bicycle being stolen. I would be happy to stay here again! ( my stay was two weeks long) so i got a really good feel for the place and the people around me, i was treated the same since day one to the day i left. highly recommended.
