My experience here was fantastic. The hotel is in serious need of updating (decor and stronger WiFi), but I would be happy to stay there again.  The receptionists and staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant food was great (breakfast included!). And the location is in walking distance of NAS1 as well as several great restaurants nearby. They have a pool which opens in the summer. Parking was free. 

A clean hotel across the street from NAS Sigonella. The pool is very nice and the place is clean. Breakfast is good and free. The beds are rock hard and the rooms dated. There is very little in the area so you can’t go to a store or another restaurant without a car. The Days Inn Pub is next to the hotel and is a very decent place where you can eat and enjoy a cold beer. 

This is a clean hotel across the street from NAS Sigonella. I was there on business and stayed 5 nights. The good: the pool is very nice and the place is clean. Breakfast is good and free. The food is decent. The less good: the beds are rock hard and the rooms dated. There is very little in the area so you can’t go to a store or another restaurant without driving a distance.

I found the hotel just a good solid base to stay near the NAS base and yes a bit out of the action but still only a 15 minute drive to a big shopping mall with food court, the airport and the city center ! Also it has a newly renovated restaurant and next doors is a Days Inn Irish Pub to eat and enjoy your time after working hours. The hotel itself enjoys a big pool area but unfortunately only opens around May or June which is a pity as it was over 25 degrees many days in March... Rooms are bit dark but big and very clean. Nice balcony to enjoy pool and mountain views. Breakfast was not bad at all. Yes it is in my opinion overpriced so for personal holidays I would not stay there at the price of around 100 Dollar a night. But for work and ideal choice. Some friendly staff, some less but isn't that everywhere ?

Rooms are smoked, beds need to be updated, and good luck getting good customer service. They will tell you they are booked on the phone because too lazy to speak English but if you go in person they will reserve a room. It is not clean do not recommend

Nice alternative to NAS Sigonella

Convenient to NAS Sigonella!

Not as bad as they say !

Blahh

Good points: big clean room, balcony, good breakfast,very friendly and efficient staff and service (extra point for that).
Bad points: peeling wallpaper and mold in the bathroom, no pool service despite almost 30 degrees outside.
I still enjoyed my stay but with some improvements it could be even better.

Pleasant stay

I stayed at Sigonella In  this month and it was a pleasent surpirse. Big room with fridge, tv and a very nice balcony with a excelent view to mount Etna. A big pool with a nearby bar with seats inside the water. The downside is the absence of a restaurant, it´s closed and it seems that it doesn´t open soon. We used the nearby restaurant  Pub Days Inn, very nice! Remember that it´s an Hotel outside the tourisct routes and it serves mainly the USA Naval base just across the street.

Big rooms, clean service

was in the area for work -- positive side:  good sized room, close to the navy base and had air conditioning.  downside: beds so hard and uncomfortable that we got next to no sleep the week we were there and room reeked of smoke.  balcony was nice when weather pleasant.  restaurant next door and in hotel - so not far from food options.  we aren't like to be back.
