Very nice place, very clean rooms and bathroom, excellent breakfast included. Angelo is really kind. I would recommend the place to everyone. It is very revealing that staff from the nearby airport choose this place to spend the night.

Angelo met us at Bergamo airport around 11pm and drove us to the B&B, only around 5 mins drive, he carried our cases, showed us around, gave us complimentary bottled water which was a nice touch after our journey. He informed us we could have breakfast at any time that suited us and offered to take us wherever we wanted to go in the morning! 

We had a twin room with a balcony which was actually very spacious. Comfortable beds, extra blankets and pillows and free wifi. The shared bathroom (1 of 2 available) was huge and spotlessly clean. It was such a nice welcome and we wished we were staying for longer! The B&B is in a lovely location in what looks like a traditional Italian residential area. 

In the morning we had a delicious breakfast of toast, cereal, fresh cakes, yoghurt, tea and coffee and juice etc. Very quiet and relaxed place, we were definitely made to feel at home. Angelo then gave us advice on places where we could go wine tasting which is what we wanted to do, and dropped us off at the funiculare rail station to take us up to the top of the mountain in Bergamo town. He even stopped off at a shop on the way to pick us up an umbrella as it was unfortunately pouring down with rain! 

We had planned on heading straight to lake Como and Milan and were just using Columbus as a base by the airport for one night, but we were so pleased we stopped to see Bergamo first, a really beautiful Italian town with cathedral, churches etc and beautiful views, even in the rain! Definitely worth a visit. Thank you so much Angelo! 

I have never been in any b@b before, so that i was worried about the idea of sharing bathroom.
ı have to say that i have never find anyone in bath, never waited for cue eventough the place was full! There are 2 bathrooms in each floor and it is always clean.
There is an İtalian breakfast in the morning, i also want to say that Angelo was so nice to go to buy a Briosh with cream just because i like that type!
The room was every day clean.
Angelo gave us a ride when we wanted to go to shopping center Orio, which is just few minutes.
The hotel is close to airport as well.
There is a bus station just in front of it.
Excellent WIFI, i had a 3 hour skpe conversaton without any break! Never had in big hotels in this area!
This place is more than an accomadation thanks to kind ANGELO
Customized service that he offers, made me feel in a warm italian family
He should be a good example to follow for big hotels that do not care about your expectations eventhough they make you pay triple that you pay here!
I do suggest Columbus strongly!

I stayed alone overnight before a morning trip out of Orio airport. I got very lost trying to walk here and ended up several kilometers away, but very fortunately I called the provided mobile number and the ex-manager (who is close with the current one and takes English phone calls) was nearby and picked me up! After arriving, the current manager took excellent and enthusiastic care of me until he took me to the airport the next morning (5 Euro/transfer). He does not speak much English, but we had no trouble communicating.

Highly recommend! Very excellent value - I paid 35 Euro for one night in a single room and 5 Euro for a morning airport transfer - a steal almost!

This family run B&B located 5km outside of Bergamo in the town of Grassobbio will leave you relaxed and richer for the experience.We were greeted upon arrival at Orio al Serio airport by Roberto who drove us to the B&B all the while pointing out local attractions and restaurants.The B&B itself is on the top floor of a very well appointed 3 story Italian villa. Spotless throughout - It was the cleanest accommodation I have ever experienced.All rooms have access to a balcony and are large in size with all conveniences.The breakfast provided was sumptuous, typically Italian and served enthusiastically.There is a bus stop just outside the house with regular busses taking you into the city centre in 10/15 minutes.Although Roberto only spoke German and Italian, his genuine friendliness and heartfelt concern conveyed everything that needed to be.While waiting for the bus one day, Roberto's son, Ricardo picked us up and dropped us in town on his way to work !A thoroughly enjoyable experience - It is places like these that encourage one to travel !Rates were 70 euros per night including breakfast.
