We wanted a rustic, charming, authentic hillside stay within Cinque Terre. We found an absolute gem of a place with I Pipetta. Chiara was wonderfully welcoming, as was her family. Chiara met us at the car park in her Piaggio to collect luggage. The car park is not for the faint hearted with limited space, there are however two spaces reserved on the road next to it which are easier to use. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a truly jaw dropping view. Chiara was a wonderful hostess, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts included home made chutneys, jams, local honey, ham, cheese, home made cakes, croissants and were served on the outside patio in front of the same outstanding views. Glorious. We absolutely loved our stay. To note, there are 150 steps from the road to the property so is not suited for anyone with mobility issues and is not suited for someone who wants a slick and modern hotel stay. If you want rustic, authentic and heart warming stay - please stay here.
