Il Borgo Silente

I booked as this was a waypoint on the Francesco trail. Basically it is a small home, and after finding it, calling the number on the door, the owner and son arrived. Lovely people and between my broken Italian and English everything was great. Located under the castle walls it has a good sized bed and bath, and the proprietor called a local restaurant to organise dinner which was appreciated after a bit of a walk. The only downside was the breakfast which even appreciated is the fact I don't have a sweet tooth so it was local cherries and coffee. The trail restarts down the hill and to the left, easy to find. Good stay and ok value
