Leonardo Da Vinci grew up here. The autumn view of the Tuscan landscape is amazing, the location is great for day trips to various Italian hotspots by car and we had free parking. The interior is beautiful, homely and spacious. The owner and staff are so helpful. We stayed at the top floor family apartment with nice cooking/dining area, 2 bedrooms and private sundecks. The shower/wc combo was clean and good but a bit of a bottleneck when we all need to use it. I'd suggest a slightly more spacious shower cubical with privacy curtain and a foldable room divider for the loo. Most important, the beds are neat and comfortable. We had 4 well rested nights. Note the elevator is perfect to reach any other rooms but there is a flight of stairs to the top floor. My teenagers certify they had good WIFI. A small shop and Pizzeria is nearby. I certainly underpaid for my visit and when in the area I would stay again! Thanks, Rik&Roz
