Agriturismo Patrizia Falciani

We actually stayed at the sister property, Agriturismo Patrizia Falciani, but it is run by Roberta all the same and is down the hill from the main property Terre Di Melazzano. Roberta (the owner) was lovely, she was so helpful and responsive to my messages. We arrived in the morning, and an early check in was not a problem at all. Roberta also explained to us how to get to Greve, which was a 20 minute walk down the vineyard. Sadly, this took us over an hour because we got lost!! However, it was a lovely walk through the fields :) We then asked the locals and got hold of a telephone number for someone that can taxi to and from properties surrounding Greve. Taxis in Greve are hard to come by, it isn't like anywhere else in Italy because all of the taxis are private, it is not as simple as 'calling a cab'. But we were put in touch with a lovely local Italian women that was happy to drive us to and from the village. (If anyone needs these details please message me directly and I can pass this to you). The property itself was ran day to day by the family that worked there, they were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 'Rosa' apartment, with the family next door. They were very quiet despite having two little ones. The apartments are set in beautiful farmhouses, they are clean and decorated as typical Italian farmhouses and all have some outdoor space and beautiful views. The views at this property really are unmatched, there are vineyards as far as the eye can see with Tuscan farmhouses dotted around and the village below. The pool area is beautiful, it is clean and tidy, and set out very well to make sure it is Covid safe. We spent a day around the pool, bathing in the sun, and drinking the incredible wine that is produced at the property. We then decided that we simply could not check out the next day as planned and we needed more time. We asked Roberta if we could stay another night and she was more than happy for us to stay. This meant we stayed for 3 nights in total, and we could happily have stayed another week - which we will be doing next year!!
