Villa Residence La Limonaia

First of all - choose Gargnano, because it is the most beautiful and quiet, relaxing place on Lake Garda. Secondly, choose Villa Residence La Limonaia, because this lovely house is situated directly on the lake and there is no traffic noise! (A lot of other villages have the road between the houses and the lake). You even get a Parking space here, in case you need one. We stayed in the Suite Portofino, the only apartment that does not have a kitchen. That was fine for us, because we did not want to cook anyway and it has a fridge for your pre-dinner drinks, etc. We still had 3 dinners on the lovely, great terrace (just with italian coldcuts, fresh bread and wine that you can buy in the local alimentari - lovely!!). The breakfast that the owner, Liana, is serving, is great and varies each day - thank you, Liana, for spoiling us! The apartment had a modern bathroom, the bedroom had a great double bed and there was another spare bed in a second room, where the fridge is also located. You get your own large terrace with this apartment, with your own sun loungers. There are also sun loungers in the garden, from where you can directly go swimming in the lake - do it, even if you find it cold - it is beautifully refreshing and clean, and right next to the house!! We stayed for a week and would have loved to stay longer - maybe next time! We recommend it to anyone, it was just perfect!
