Hotel Lamm

We arrived without a reservation late May when all was rather closed down in San Valentino but had a warm welcome from an English speaking host who gave us a lovely clean room with balcony overlooking the street. At dinner we had the fastest service ever, you know how when you sit down in a restaurant you are given a menu, asked if you would like a drink then nothing much seems to happen. Well not here, the two servers were so efficient, keeping an eye on everyone. The beers had arrived before we had even picked up the menu, brilliant service. The restaurant and the pizzeria below seemed to be doing good business, perhaps there weren't many places open or perhaps they had a well earned good reputation. Many thanks.
