7 reviewsLocated right in the center of Cortona, Palazzo Tommasi is an experience in excellence in every way. Inge made us feel like we were part of the family and provided 5 star service. Once you enter, you are immersed in a world of art representative of the Renaissance period. Fresco's on the wall, antique furnishings, paintings dating back centuries, decorated ceilings, and much more. Most importantly, you are treated like royalty. A few steps from here are numerous restaurants, cafe's to sip an early morning cappuccino, great shopping, and a community of a bygone era where neighbors gathered in squares to chat in the late afternoon. On the last day of our stay we looked out of our beautiful Principessa Suite window overlooking one of the piazza's and watched an archery contest as if we stepped back to the 15th century. Palazzo Tommasi is not just a hotel room or bed and breakfast. It is an atmosphere and experience that we will never forget and hope to be able to return to again one day. Thank you Inge for making our stay so memorable. Connie still feels like a princess!
